Kaya nga we are sentimental at times. But I know there will come a day that I have to let go of these things because I know I’m not really giving up the memories…Memories can never be gone as long as you want them kept in your mind and treasured in your heart… May candy wrapper man o wala, you know you are loved by someone special to you. May ticket stub man o wala, you know you had fun with the best people in your life. May tissue man o wala, you know you have someone to turn to when the rest of the world turns you down. May text man o wala, alam mong ‘pag naiisip mo crush mo kinikilig ka…ü
Sabi nga ni Morrie Schwartz (Tuesdays with Morrie), don’t let go too soon but don’t hang on too long. We should know when to stop and move on. We may end the connection but the memory lives on…as long as we make it alive, it won’t die…
N.B.
“As long as we can love each other and remember the feeling we had, we can die without really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on- in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here.” –Tuesdays with Morrie, p.174
