1. i love how the past few weeks gave me time to read. i read while waiting for my class to start. i read in between dull moments. i read whenever time permits. and i love how i can just go wherever and just read. i read and have my own little world. i read when i'm alone. but i'm not really alone when i read. who needs company when you got 'em books? definitely not me!

2. i've been reading nonstop since class started- no, not really course readings. i finally finished hermann hesse's demian and sidney sheldon's rage of angels. all in around 2 months- 1 month and 20 days with demian and 1 week with rage. demian was really more of a carry-over from summer class. rage was more of a time-filler this just-started semester.

3. i love how demian and rage came after i read kurt vonnegut's bluebeard. being able to read kv, hesse, and sheldon one after the other is a literary-high for me. i love those three. they're my holy trinity. they may not be around anymore but sidney sheldon's passion, hermann hesse's wisdom, and kurt vonnegut's intellect will always be alive and kicking- immortal is the word.
